Amazon Ordered Two Seasons of God of War Series at Once

Apparently, Amazon has no doubt that the God of War series will be a success. Recently, writer and producer Ronald D. Moore admitted that the show has been ordered two seasons.
He spoke about the length of the series in an interview with The Sackhoff Show:
Right now I'm working on the adaptation of this video game called God of War, that Amazon has ordered two seasons of and they asked me to come in, I'm literally in the writers room and that's my new thing.
Ronald D. Moore also tried out the God of War itself, but ran into problems. Since his last foray into gaming was back in the arcade days, he had a hard time coping with Kratos' fast-paced gameplay, causing him to die in every fight.
Recall that the screenwriter replaced Rafe Judkins, who left the project last year after the reboot of production. Ronald D. Moore is known to the general audience for the series Battlestar Galactica and For All Mankind.
Today, the first look at the characters from the film Mortal Kombat 2 with Karl Urban also appeared.
