The creators describe Skelethrone: The Chronicles of Ericona as a hardcore 2D platformer with RPG elements, inspired by games from the Castlevania and Dark Souls series. The project's story will narrate the tale of Lord Derek Ericona, attempting to lead a rebellion against the evil Queen Aurora to save the kingdom. Among the game's features, developers have highlighted a large number of diverse bosses, numerous handcrafted locations, non-linear gameplay, and several endings.
It is worth mentioning that a free prequel called Skelethrone: The Prey was previously released on Steam. It received 77% positive reviews, includes a Russian translation, and features 14 achievements.
