Three hours of Hades 2 gameplay: meeting the gods, showcasing new weapons, and plenty of epic battles

Supergiant Games hosted a three-hour stream where they first showcased detailed gameplay of Hades 2. The developers played a technical build, which is already available as part of a closed testing phase. Applications for participation can be submitted on the Steam page.

The video features several runs with the new heroine — the princess of the underworld, Melinoe. According to the story, she tries to reach her father Hades and kill the titan Cronus.

In Hades 2, the developers added several mechanics that were not present in the first part: inventory, magic gauge, and power-up cards. The pantheon of ancient Greek gods has grown even larger — the heroine will meet Selene, Hestia, Nemesis, Hephaestus, and other characters. The weapons and locations are also entirely new.

Early access for Hades 2 is expected to start from April to the end of June. The game will be officially translated into Russian.
