The developers of Helldivers 2 have announced that PC gamers will soon need to create a PlayStation Network account. According to the studio, due to technical difficulties at launch, an account was not mandatory, but the rules will change this month.
Arrowhead Game Studios assured that linking to the PlayStation Network will allow for the blocking of dishonest Helldivers. Mandatory registration will begin on May 6.
Previously, Sony introduced the official PlayStation overlay with support for trophies from PSN. This feature will debut in Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut.
