Players began to be banned when entering Helldivers 2 from regions where PSN is not available

As expected, some users' accounts began to be blocked when trying to access Helldivers 2 from a region that does not support the PlayStation Network. Changing the country using third-party services does not help.

The first ban was received by a player from China. The gamer linked his Steam account to PSN using a region change, but was still blocked from the game for «violating the user agreement.»

In this regard, players have created a map of countries in which you can have a PSN. Information on regions is being supplemented.

The head of the Arrowhead studio, Johan Pilestedt, has already responded to the wave of indignation from players on social networks, saying that they can contact PlayStation support. He later commented on Helldivers 2's plummeting ratings on Steam, writing the following:

Well, I guess it's warranted. Sorry everyone for how this all transpired. I hope we will make it up and regain the trust by providing a continued great game experience. I just want to make great games!

The studio also stated that the decision to link to PSN was made by Sony.

Let us remind you that yesterday the authors of Helldivers 2 informed PC players that in the near future they will be required to create an account on the PlayStation Network. According to them, this is due to new safety rules. In response, gamers began to massively «sink» the game on Steam with negative reviews. Now Helldivers 2's rating has dropped to 37%.
