Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut ranked second on Steam among Sony's most popular games on PC, leaving God of War behind. Only Helldivers 2 has better performance.
Released on May 16, the PC port quickly surpassed games such as The Last of Us Part 1, both parts of Horizon, Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered and the penultimate part of God of War. According to SteamDB, Ghost of Tsushima peaked at 77,154 players online.
Unfortunately, before the release of Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut, it was withdrawn from sales on Steam for 180 regions. The reason for this decision by Sony was the impossibility of creating a PSN account in these countries. It is required for multiplayer game mode.
