94% rating: story-driven shooter Selaco has been released on Steam
Selaco, a story-based shooter inspired by F.E.A.R., Quake and Doom, which has been in development for over three years, has been released on Steam Early Access.
Selaco is set in the underground Selaco complex, where the survivors of the Earth Fall live, and the story tells about a security captain who, trying to uncover the dark past of the asylum, finds himself drawn into a large-scale conflict.
In the current version players have access to the first chapter (out of three), 31 locations, 11 weapon models that can be customised and 10 types of enemies, 28 achievements and Steam Workshop support.
According to the authors, the game will leave early access after gamers will be able to access all three story chapters. They can take from 24 to 36 months to create. Between the release of chapters, the developers plan to release updates with new modes and various improvements and fixes. The price of the game will not change even after the full release.
The shooter has received 94% positive reviews on Steam. It is praised for interesting levels that want to explore, hidden secrets, the ability to interact with different objects, good artificial intelligence of opponents and cool shooting mechanics.
