George R.R. Martin, who worked on the lore for Elden Ring, commented on a possible film or series based on the game. Recently, Hidetaka Miyazaki openly stated that FromSoftware is open to the idea of an adaptation.
The famous writer was much less straightforward, but hinted that the project is indeed in the works.
Let us remind you that George Martin is currently busy with several Game of Thrones projects, including a series about Dunk and Egg. Its release is scheduled for early 2025.
At the end of June, Elden Ring received a major expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, which added a new region and a separate storyline about Miquella the Benevolent. Its sales have already exceeded 5 million copies.
