Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree expansion has sold 5 million copies

Bandai Namco has shared data on the circulation of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. Copies of the add-on were sold around the world in the amount of five million copies in just three days.
We are humbled to announce that Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, the action RPG title from Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. and FromSoftware, Inc., has reached 5 million units sold worldwide within three days of its release. This milestone is the result of the tremendous support from fans all over the world, to whom we express our heartfelt gratitude.
Today the add-on received its first patch, which fixed some bugs and changed the balance. Now it has become easier for players to complete the DLC — on the day of release, many of them downgraded Shadow of the Erdtree on Steam due to difficulty and optimization.
