The Telegram team has reacted to the arrest of Pavel Durov

A day after Pavel Durov's arrest, the Telegram team got in touch and commented on the detention of the messenger's creator:
- The team called the accusation of complicity in crimes absurd;
- Durov often travels around Europe — he has nothing to hide;
- The messenger complies with all European Union laws;
- Moderation in Telegram meets standards — its mechanisms are constantly being improved;
- Telegram has almost a billion users.
It should be recalled that Pavel Durov was arrested on the evening of August 24th at a Parisian airport. The 39-year-old entrepreneur was taken into custody until the court hearing. According to the media, he could face up to 20 years in prison.
