Adult Swim has published a fresh trailer for Uzumaki — an adaptation of the cult manga by Junji Ito, which was announced back in 2019. The premiere will take place on September 28.
The anime will tell the story of the cursed town of Kurouzu, where all living things begin to twist into a spiral shape. The main characters, high school students Shuichi and Kirie, try to escape from this insane place.
Uzumaki will consist of four episodes. Previously, Netflix released an anime anthology Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre featuring adaptations of other stories by Junji Ito.
In August, Trigger studio, known for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, released a trailer for the anime adaptation of Transformers.
