Insider: Resident Evil Zero and Code: Veronica remakes will be simpler than RE 4 remake
Authoritative insider Dusk Golem, who was the first to talk about Capcom's development of Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil Code: Veronica remakes, shared new information about the status of the projects. Fans will have to lower their expectations after the Resident Evil 4 remake.
Capcom don't really plan for there to be a remake as «ambitious» as RE:4, in many ways that was the crown jewel of remakes and the most challenging one to tackle in scale, scope, expectation.
In addition, the insider once again confirmed that only two parts of the series are currently in active development. Resident Evil 9 is also in production, as Capcom itself recently announced. According to rumors, the new part will focus on the story of Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine.
Earlier, an enthusiast turned Resident Evil 4 into a film with real actors using neural networks. Before that, the classic version of the second part with a number of improvements was released on GOG.
