Release Date Announced for New Witcher Anime 'Sirens of the Deep'
Redanian Intelligence has learned the exact release date of the anime film «The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep.» The film was supposed to be released at the end of 2024, but according to journalists, it has been postponed to a later date.
«Sirens of the Deep» will be released on February 11, 2025. The publication also learned that the film's duration will be 1 hour and 29 minutes, which is slightly longer than «The Nightmare of the Wolf.»
The new anime adapts the story «A Little Sacrifice,» the events of which will take place between episodes 5 and 6 of the first season of «The Witcher.» In this story, Geralt witnesses the love between Prince Agloval and the siren Sh'eenaz, and also meets the female bard Essi Daven.
The main role will be played by Doug Cockle, who voiced Geralt in the CD Projekt RED games. Anya Chalotra and Joey Batey will voice Yennefer and Jaskier, while Christina Wren will lend her voice to Essi Daven.
It is worth noting that a new book about the witcher Geralt is expected to go on sale at the end of 2024.
