Insider Tom Henderson shared fresh information about Call of Duty 2025. According to him, it will be a continuation of Black Ops 2, with events unfolding in 2030.
Narratively, it will be a direct sequel, and the main characters will face a new villain. The game will feature a revamped movement system (likely the authors will improve wall running), and the multiplayer will include both new and old maps from Black Ops 2.
Henderson also mentioned the return of the classic class creation system, Gunfight mode, and rounds in zombie mode.
Call of Duty 2025 will be released next fall. As for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, its release will take place exactly one week later, on October 25.
