The Day Before creators failed to fund their new game — so they announced another one

The developers of The Day Before have announced an important update — their new game has been canceled. Fntastic Studio revealed that their survival game Escape Factory didn't attract enough interest from players, leading them to shut down the crowdfunding campaign and issue refunds.

Instead of Escape Factory, the team will focus on a new multiplayer action-horror game called Items, which will resemble their previous project Propnight, a game with 64% positive reviews on Steam.

The Kickstarter for Items will launch after the demo is released, while the team also works on mobile titles to support development.
