Apple releases macOS Sequoia 15.1 update with AI

Alongside iOS 18.1, Apple has launched the new macOS Sequoia 15.1. Previously in beta testing, it is now available for download to all users.

The update can be downloaded via the System Settings under the «Software Update» section. Similar to iOS 18.1, macOS Sequoia 15.1 focuses on integrating Apple Intelligence's artificial intelligence features.

This includes new text writing capabilities, an enhanced Siri that can now understand conversation context, and more.

The update is compatible with iMac 2019, iMac Pro 2017, MacBook Air 2020, MacBook Pro 2018, Mac Pro 2019, Mac Studio 2022, Mac mini 2018, and newer Mac devices.

Additionally, the new AI feature supports «smart replies» for the Mail and Messages apps, allowing users to automatically generate responses to various messages.
