Assassin's Creed: Syndicate Gets 60 FPS Patch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S

A surprise free patch has been released for the console version of Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, introducing a new graphics mode. The update is 0.75 GB on PlayStation, while Xbox users will need to download 31.8 GB.

Now, fans are hoping Ubisoft will update Assassin's Creed: Unity, which still runs at 30 FPS. A 60 FPS mode is available for Unity on PlayStation 5, but only for the disc version.

The next chapter in the Assassin's Creed series, subtitled Shadows, launches on February 14. Ubisoft recently revealed it spent €20 million on additional polishing for the game.
