Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Creator Admits Nervousness About Competing with Assassin's Creed: Shadows

Game designer Daniel Vávra, the mind behind Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, has shared his concerns about the game's February release date. The medieval RPG is set to launch just days before Assassin's Creed: Shadows, which makes Vávra a bit uneasy.

KCDII will be released just a few days before new Assassins Creed. Makes me little bit nervous, but it will be interesting to see, if a smaller company with hardcore old school RPG could compete with a corporate product for modern audiences. What do you think? Also. No Denuvo ;)

Vávra also mentioned that he's a big fan of the Assassin's Creed series, although the last title he truly enjoyed was Origins. He wasn't as impressed with Valhalla, which he felt leaned too heavily into mythology.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is scheduled for release on February 11, while Assassin's Creed: Shadows will be available on February 14.
