Free Anime Shooter with 2D Transformation Mechanics Hits Steam
Strinova, an anime-inspired online shooter reminiscent of Valorant and Overwatch, has officially launched on Steam. The game is free-to-play.
Strinova is a hero-based third-person shooter featuring a variety of unique abilities. Each character has a distinctive mechanic allowing them to switch between 2D and 3D forms. This transformation lets players dodge bullets and access hard-to-reach areas.
The developers have already kicked off the first season, introducing two new agents and a map with a unique teleportation mechanic. The season is expected to run until spring 2025.
As of this writing, Strinova has received mixed reviews. Players have criticized its casual gunplay, lack of server-switching options, and a gacha system with less-than-ideal pricing. The game is available to add to your library here.
