Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Will Have Different Endings
The developers from Warhorse Studios have revealed some new information about Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which will be released next year. One of the main innovations of the sequel will be the ability to get different endings.
During the broadcast on IGN, lead designer Prokop Jirsa and RP manager of the studio Tobias Stolz-Zwilling revealed that the game will show different paths of development of Henry of Skalitz as a warrior. Depending on the decisions made, gamers will be able to see several endings with different results — but the character will not become a hero in any of them. The developers justified this by the fact that Henry is a simple guy from a small town who was not prepared for the life of a knight and took up a sword only because of the civil war. The horrors he saw changed the blacksmith's son once and for all, so he will never be the same again.
They also mentioned the combat system, in which master strikes have been redesigned. In the first part, they could be abused to quickly defeat opponents, but in the sequel, the techniques will become more difficult to perform. Blocks and counterstrikes will not help either — in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you will have to fight more aggressively and constantly move around the arena.
Recall that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will be released on February 11 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.
Earlier, the developers showed the gameplay of one of the first quests. In it, for the first time, the combat system was demonstrated live — it turned out to be difficult even for the creators of the game.
