Several sources have compiled a list of the worst-performing games of 2024 based on Metacritic scores, and a clear loser has emerged. Topping the list of the year's most critically panned releases is the PS5 version of Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash.
The fighting game, based on the popular anime Jujutsu Kaisen, scored a dismal 44/100 on Metacritic, earning it the dubious title of worst game of 2024 according to this particular ranking. Player reception wasn't much better, with only 57% positive reviews on Steam.
Rounding out the top three were Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports (47/100) and Taxi Life: A City Driving Simulator (51/100).
