BioWare Veterans Reveal Gameplay for Exodus, a Spiritual Successor to Mass Effect

Archetype Entertainment, a studio founded by BioWare veterans, has unveiled a gameplay trailer for its debut title: Exodus, a third-person AAA space RPG.

Set in a distant future where humanity has constructed generation ships and fled a dying Earth for the hostile Centauri star system, Exodus follows June Aslan on a journey across various planets to forge alliances and confront a hostile alien race known as the Ascended.

Veteran BioWare developer James Ohlen leads development, with the team also including former members of Naughty Dog (Uncharted) and 343 Industries (Halo). The game is in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, with a release date yet to be announced.
