Dead Space Creator Suggests EA Develop a Fourth Installment
YouTuber Dan Allen Gaming has shared an interview with the original creators of Dead Space: Glen Schofield, Christopher Stone, and Bret Robbins. During the conversation, the developers revealed that they had discussions with Electronic Arts in early 2024 about creating a new installment in the series.
Unfortunately, EA rejected the idea due to the franchise's financial performance. “We respected their opinion. They know their numbers and what they have to ship,” Schofield remarked.
While the developers refrained from sharing specific details about Dead Space 4, they expressed enthusiasm for working on it. However, Christopher Stone is currently involved in developing a game with Grand Theft Auto co-creator Dan Houser, and Bret Robbins is working on the tactical shooter Ready or Not.
