Metro Awakening devs showcase review scores in a new trailer
The developers of Metro Awakening, a VR spin-off of the Metro series, have released a new trailer for their post-apocalyptic shooter, highlighting positive review scores and quotes.
The trailer features quotes from reviews by UploadVR, Push Square, and PCGamesN, as well as a mention of YouTuber Beardo Benjo. The game holds an average score of 77/100 on OpenCritic.
Metro Awakening is a narrative-driven shooter that follows the story of a doctor named Serdar as he embarks on a journey through dangerous metro tunnels in search of his wife and medicine for her. Developed by Vertigo Games, it's available on PC and PlayStation VR2. The game has received a 75% positive review rating on Steam. Metro Awakening was nominated for Best VR/AR Game at The Game Awards 2024 but was ultimately beaten by Batman: Arkham Shadow.
It's worth noting that a brand new installment in the Metro series is also in development by 4A Games. A full announcement date for this new title is still unknown.
