Black Mesa: Military Story Mod Released

A team of enthusiasts has released the full version of their story-driven modification, Black Mesa: Military, which allows players to experience the events of the first Half-Life from the perspective of a marine. You can download it here.

In Military, players can witness the disaster that occurred at Black Mesa from the perspective of the villains and even encounter Gordon Freeman. The main character is Steven Mills, a marine from HECU, who is tasked with securing the research facility.

In the final version, the developers have reworked chapters 1, 2, and 3, completed chapter 7, and added chapter 8. Various bugs have also been fixed, enemy AI has been improved, new dialogues have been added, and more.

The modification requires Black Mesa, a fan-made remake of Half-Life released in 2020.
