Immersive Shooter DEFICIT Announced

ITEM42 has announced DEFICIT, an immersive shooter reminiscent of the Half-Life and Condemned series. The developers have released a trailer and screenshots, and have also shared details about the game.
DEFICIT's story will center around a spy who is tasked with infiltrating a heavily guarded research lab and stealing a device capable of altering reality. To complete this mission, the main character will need to sneak past guards, turn their defensive systems against them, or engage them in direct combat. In fights, players can use firearms and melee weapons, including pistols, hammers, screwdrivers, batons, and more.
The developers have not announced a release date. A Steam page for the project is already available.
