Stronghold Crusader Remaster Announced

FireFly Studios has announced a remaster of the 2002 strategy game, Stronghold Crusader. The studio has released a debut trailer and several screenshots of the project, along with sharing the first details.

According to the developers, the remaster, titled Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition, will be an expanded and enhanced edition of the strategy game featuring revamped gameplay and improved graphics, created with great attention to the original. The updated version will include brand new content – 8 troop types, 4 commanders, 2 campaigns, and a co-op mode. The developers will also expand existing maps and add several new maps for online multiplayer.

Definitive Edition will launch on July 15th exclusively for PC. According to Steam, the minimum system requirements include an Intel Core i3-3220 processor, 6 GB of RAM, a graphics card with 2 GB of video memory (for 1080p), and 4 GB of free space on an HDD/SSD. A free demo will be released on January 20th.
