New Half-Life 2 Remake Images and Video Leak

A six-minute gameplay video of the Half-Life 2 remake, which is being created using NVIDIA RTX Remix tools, has leaked online. Several images have also been released.

The remake, titled Half-Life 2 RTX, is being developed by a third-party team called Orbifold Studios, which includes creators of the Half-Life 2: VR, Half-Life 2: Remade Assets, Project 17, and Raising the Bar: Redux mods. The project will feature improved lighting, new assets, ray tracing, and support for DLSS 3.5 technology. The remake will be free, but it will require a Steam version of the original Half-Life 2 to run. There is currently no estimated release date for the game.
