How to Make Steam Better: Baldur's Gate 3 Publisher Would Like to See a Tipping System
January 27, 2025, 11:35 AM
Michael Douse, the head of publishing at Larian Studios, has expressed his desire for Steam to introduce a tipping system that would allow users to give additional rewards to developers. According to the executive, he would gladly pay more than the asking price for games he enjoys.
Douse clarified that this is not about mandatory payments and asked not to misconstrue his words. He explained:
In the absence of such a system, Douse considers simply buying multiple copies and sharing them with other players. One user on X noted that they had already done something similar: they once bought three copies of Disco Elysium to delight their friends.
