Teaser for the 'Astartes 2' Animated Series Set in the Warhammer 40K Universe Released

The official Warhammer YouTube channel has released the debut teaser for the animated project "Astartes 2." This is the official continuation of the eponymous show created by solo artist Shyama Pedersen. Now, Pedersen is working on the sequel in collaboration with Games Workshop.

The teaser offers a glimpse into the past lives of the characters who will appear on screen. Games Workshop hinted that the final shots contain "pretty unsubtle hint at the end as to the nature of the final story" and encouraged fans to share their theories.

"Astartes 2" is set to premiere in 2026. Meanwhile, Amazon is working on its own project within the legendary universe, featuring Henry Cavill.
