Alan Wake 2 Only Now Begins to Turn a Profit — Sales Reach 2 Million Copies

Remedy Entertainment has released its financial report for the year 2024, revealing that Alan Wake 2 has sold 2 million copies and is now fully profitable.

The psychological thriller began generating profit just over a year after its release. The PC version of the game was exclusively available on the Epic Games Store, and Epic CEO Tim Sweeney previously confirmed that it will not come to Steam.

Additionally, Remedy announced that revenue increased by 13.1% to €11.7 million during the period from October to December 2024. During this time, the studio also released physical editions of Alan Wake 2 and the DLC The Lake House .

Remedy's next project will be the cooperative shooter FBC: Firebreak, set to release in 2025. The remakes of Max Payne are currently in full development, and production on Control 2 is set to begin this month.
