Knights of the Round Table in Modern London: Hack-and-Slash Game Tides of Annihilation Announced

One of the biggest reveals from State of Play was the announcement of Tides of Annihilation, a fantasy hack-and-slash inspired by the legends of King Arthur. Developed by Chinese studio Eclipse Glow Games, the game’s epic trailer showcases a devastated London and the mystical realm of Avalon.

The story follows Gwendolyn, a survivor who discovers the ability to summon the Knights of the Round Table after dark forces invade London, engulfing the city in a deadly mist. Driven by the need to save her sister, she embarks on a perilous journey between two worlds.

From a gameplay perspective, Tides of Annihilation presents itself as a hack-and-slash with a "unique" combat system. Players will command a squad of over ten legendary knights, each possessing their own distinct abilities.

The game is set to launch on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. While there’s no official release date yet, the developers are expected to showcase fresh gameplay footage later today.
