Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Closed Beta Gameplay Surfaces Online

The closed beta test for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds kicked off on February 21st and runs through the 23rd. Beta participants have already been busy recording gameplay and sharing it online.

YouTuber Sonic Overtime has uploaded a video showcasing all the characters and tracks available in the beta. The video features Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Eggman, Omega, Shadow, Cream, and Zazz in action. Tracks on display include Ocean View, Rainbow Garden, E-Stadium, Water Palace, Wonder Museum, and Metal Harbor.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is being developed by Sonic Team using Unreal Engine. The game is slated for release before the end of 2025 on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

In related news, at the end of January, Paramount Pictures revealed the official logo and exact release date for the fourth Sonic the Hedgehog movie.
