Split Fiction, From It Takes Two Devs, Gets Its First Reviews

The review embargo for Split Fiction, the latest co-op title from Josef Fares, the creator of It Takes Two, lifted on March 4th, and the initial impressions are overwhelmingly positive. Critics seem to be captivated by the new release.
Split Fiction currently boasts an impressive average score of 91/100 on OpenCritic. Reviewers generally agree that Fares has delivered another masterpiece. The game is being lauded for its stunning art direction, beautifully crafted and diverse levels ripe for exploration, excellent presentation, compelling narrative, well-developed characters, inventive mechanics, strong optimization, and engaging cooperative gameplay. Some publications cited the simplicity of the puzzles as a minor drawback. A few critics were less impressed with the story, calling it cliché.
Split Fiction launches on March 6th for PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
