Sony Unveils The Last of Us-Inspired DualSense Controller
PlayStation is treating fans of the legendary franchise to a special limited-run DualSense controller inspired by the world of The Last of Us. Designed jointly with Naughty Dog, the accessory transforms into a collectible art piece, packed with subtle nods to Ellie and Joel’s harrowing journey.
The controller’s matte-black chassis contrasts with stark white accents, mirroring the post-apocalyptic aesthetic of the games. Its grips and touchpad showcase glossy emblematic designs, highlighted by three key symbols:
- The Firefly: The rebel insignia from the original game;
- Moth vs. Wolf: A metaphor for Ellie and Abby’s clash in The Last of Us Part II.
Pre-orders open March 14, 2025, via PlayStation Direct and select retailers, priced at $84.99, with shipments starting April 10. The reveal coincides with major franchise updates: The Last of Us Part II Remastered launches on PC April 3, followed by HBO’s Season 2 premiere on April 13.
