- A new weapon rarity tier has been introduced, and shields have been reworked to encourage more frequent use;
- A permadeath mode has been added, where fallen characters are transferred to the regular game world;
- Fast travel is now available from the player's house, and storage chests have been significantly expanded;
- Players can now eat multiple meals in a row, though food consumption is limited during combat;
- Construction speed can now be boosted with food;
- Performance improvements have been made, including an updated DLSS version.
In total, The Breach includes around 11,000 changes. The next update will conclude the main story and introduce new features, including a co-op mode.
