Wreckfest 2 Enters Steam Early Access

Wreckfest 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the demolition-derby racer, has launched into Steam Early Access, a full 11 years after the original. The game is currently 20% off until April 3rd.

Like its predecessor, Wreckfest 2 evokes the chaotic spirit of the FlatOut series, letting players race in beat-up vehicles and smash their opponents to pieces. A key highlight of the sequel is its overhauled physics engine, taking the car destruction system to the next level. The current Early Access build features races, demolition derbies, and multiplayer. There's also a sandbox map designed to showcase the advanced vehicle destruction capabilities. The game is expected to remain in Early Access for at least 12 months. During this time, the developers plan to add new content, customization options, mod support, and more.
