Larian Studios Shows Four More Subclasses for Baldur's Gate 3 — Coming in Patch 8

Larian Studios has released the final, third video for Baldur's Gate 3 demonstrating new subclasses that will appear in the game with the release of Patch 8. Players were shown the Rogue (Swashbuckler), Sorcerer (Shadow Magic), Warlock (Hexblade), and Wizard (Bladesinging).

All four subclasses will add new skills and capabilities, diversifying the gameplay. For example, as a Hexblade Warlock, players will be able to turn defeated enemies into monsters that will help in battle, and the Sorcerer of Shadow Magic will allow you to summon creatures from the other dimension and blind enemies.

Earlier, Larian Studios showed the gameplay for the Paladin (Oath of the Crown), Fighter (Arcane Archer), Monk (Drunken Master), Ranger (Swarmkeeper). There's also a video showing off the Bard (College of Glamour), Barbarian (Path of the Giants), Priest (Death Domain), and Druid (Circle of The Stars).

All 12 subclasses will be available with the release of Patch 8, along with Photo Mode and crossplay. The release date for the update is still unknown, but we've covered all the new features in detail in our article.
