Australian Classification Board Denies Reports of Silent Hill f Ban

The Australian Classification Board has denied claims that Silent Hill f has been banned in the country. Apparently, the age rating refusal mark was caused by a bug on the site.
According to the Australian portal Stevivor, the entry has already been removed from the official website of the board. Its representatives confirmed that Silent Hill f has not yet been classified — the age rating will be assigned only closer to the release. The publication suggested that the situation arose due to an error in the reporting algorithms.
Silent Hill f is being developed for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5 without a release date.
Recall that the ESRB agency assigned the horror an M17+ rating due to the abundance of violent and bloody scenes. And in Japan, the game received an 18+ age restriction for the first time in the history of the series. All the details of the new Silent Hill are collected here.
