April 3, 2025, 10:29 AM

During yesterday’s Nintendo Direct presentation, the company announced several remasters for the Switch 2. According to Western retailers, these updated editions will be priced $10–20 higher than their original versions.
For instance, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Party Jamboree, and Kirby and the Forgotten Land will be priced at $80, while The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will cost $70. It’s likely that owners of the original versions will be able to purchase an upgrade separately.
The Zelda remasters are expected to feature higher resolution, improved frame rates, and faster loading times. Other titles will likely receive similar enhancements.
Nintendo Switch 2 launches on June 5, priced at $450.
