Dune: Awakening Performance Tested on RTX 4060

YouTube channel 54 FPS got early access to a preview build of the open-world survival MMO Dune: Awakening and put it through its paces on an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 OC (8GB). The YouTuber's rig also included an AMD Ryzen 5 7600 CPU, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and an NVMe SSD.
Here's a breakdown of the average FPS he recorded:
- 1080p, Ultra settings: 64 FPS;
- 1080p, Ultra settings, DLSS 4 (Quality): 76 FPS;
- 1080p, Ultra settings, DLSS 4 (Quality), Frame Generation: 130 FPS;
- 1440p, Ultra settings, DLSS 4 (Balanced): 64 FPS;
- 1440p, Ultra settings, DLSS 4 (Balanced), Frame Generation: 92 FPS.
Dune: Awakening is an MMO survival game set in the Dune universe, dropping players onto the harsh desert planet of Arrakis. Developed by Funcom, the studio behind Conan Exiles, it's being built in Unreal Engine 5 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Gamers can already pre-order one of three editions: Standard, Deluxe, and Complete. The game is slated for release on June 10th.
In other performance news, another enthusiast recently benchmarked Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on a range of graphics cards including the GTX 1660, RTX 3060, RTX 4060, and RTX 4070. There's also performance data surfacing for TES 4: Oblivion Remastered.
