In Lethal Company, players take on the role of a corporation employee engaged in the extraction of scrap metal on abandoned moons. The funds earned will go towards exploring new, more dangerous planets or upgrading your ship. During your travels, you will explore new fauna and also beware of numerous dangers. The game emphasizes team interaction with other players and a strategic approach to completing tasks, as this is necessary for survival and success in very difficult conditions.

How to Sell Items and Scrap

To sell items in Lethal Company, simply follow a few easy steps:

  1. Reach the ship and approach the terminal.
  2. Enter the command Moons, then Company.
  3. Click Confirm.
  4. The transporter will head to the base, where you need to leave the ship and approach the store counter.
  5. Place the items for sale and complete the transaction (to do this, interact with the bell on the counter).

When the creature processes your goods, you will receive payment. However, be careful: this monster behind the counter can release tentacles, which can even take away a team member. Also, be sure to meet the quota, as failing to do so will result in disciplinary action from the company.

When to Sell Items

As we mentioned earlier, to sell any item or found scrap metal, you need to go to the company base. The selling price of finds will always change:

  • On the first day, you will receive only 30% of the resource's value;
  • On the second day, 77% of the full value;
  • On the third day, the value will be 100%.

Smart distribution of selling time depending on the map and the volume of loot will significantly impact your gaming strategy and final income. However, with a large amount of resources and items found, even early sales can be quite profitable. If players meet the quota in the first few days, we advise getting rid of all items to collect even more loot.

Of course, for quick earnings, it's best to sell items on the last day of the game cycle, only if you do not plan to explore more dangerous moons. But each new task carries different dangers, so don't be greedy, or you may lose everything, and be ready to make decisions based on your own preferences.

How to Earn Money Quickly

In Lethal Company, the optimal moment for selling the items you've collected largely depends on your play style and the amount of items you've collected. Choosing between early or late sales should be based on strategic planning to maximize profit.

Explore as Many Rooms as Possible

Each specific object in Lethal Company will have to be explored independently. This could be an abandoned factory, station, or logistics hub with a vast number of rooms and spaces. Typically, the most valuable items are located in the far corners of locations, so when inspecting, make sure to look into every room. Some of them will undoubtedly be empty, but with each one, the chance of finding expensive items increases.

Beware of Monsters

The types of monsters in Lethal Company vary depending on the moon you are on. Some enemies are unique to certain missions, and satellites in later stages, such as Dain and Rend, while being more challenging and dangerous, offer the opportunity to earn a decent amount of money.

Distribute Loot Among Players

If you are playing in co-op, it is not recommended to carry all the loot by yourself. This can lead to rapid fatigue growth and a decrease in overall movement speed. Divide the items among team members and ensure all loot slots are fully loaded before departure. Leaving earlier than scheduled is advised only at a high level of danger, which can make further exploration and resource collection very risky.

Monitor Weather Conditions

Before choosing missions at the company terminal, you can track information about weather conditions. It is recommended to avoid conducting operations in storm conditions or when there is a threat of flooding, as water very quickly floods even the interior areas of locations. In this case, there is a risk of encountering an oceanic flood, which will inevitably lead to the demise of the entire expedition. To minimize risks when exploring in extreme conditions, it is recommended to reach the quota and sell the accumulated items before the disaster strikes, preferably in the first two days.

Prepare Before the Mission

At the terminal, players have the option to purchase special items that significantly increase their efficiency. Thanks to the latest updates in the game, it is now possible to attack or neutralize enemies, which can be a decisive factor for survival in difficult situations.

First and foremost, buy a flashlight, as it will often be very dark in underground areas. After earning some extra money, stock up on grenades and other tools according to your tasks and preferences in the game. However, if you are not confident in meeting the quota, it is advised to save funds to avoid accidental loss of progress due to death or lack of resources.
