Gift of the Bow: Dragon's Dogma 2 Walkthrough

In the «Gift of the Bow» quest in Dragon's Dogma 2, players meet an elf archer in search of a human-made bow. This quest requires adventurers to locate such a unique weapon, navigating through various challenges to demonstrate their skills. Successful completion of this quest rewards players with valuable items and allies, enriching their experience in this enchanting realm.

How to complete the Gift of the Bow quest

While exploring Vernworth, you'll encounter an elf standing by the weapon shop in the central square. Interact with him to start the quest. A guy named Glindr will share about the Trial every elf must undergo upon reaching maturity, and he will also ask you to bring any bow made by humans.

How to get a bow for Glindr

If you have any spare weapon of this type, feel free to give it to the elf. Otherwise, head to the weapon shop and buy a Hunting Bow for 4240 gold. Hand over the item to the guy, after which he will ask you to visit him at the training location.

Tip: Before you leave, make sure you have selected the Archer profession. Otherwise, Glindr will refuse to speak with you, saying something like «How can I start training if I have nothing to shoot with».

You can reach the designated area by following the main road from the north-western gates of Vernworth. Once, you will need to cross a river and fight a few cyclopes. A little further from the Mountain Ruins, where the elf waits, there is a settlement where you can change your profession (if you forgot earlier).

Talk to the guy and start the trial. Targets will be hanging from stone platforms—shoot at them. By doing this, you will complete the quest and receive 8500 gold and the Ring of Proximity.
