What Stats to Level Up in No Rest For The Wicked

To emerge victorious from combat in No Rest For The Wicked, besides equipment, it's crucial to enhance your stats. In this guide, we'll explain what each parameter does and what to focus on in the early stages of the game.

The Impact of Stats

There are 8 stats in the game that you can level up as you gain levels. Each new level grants you +3 points, available for distribution among the hero's parameters.

  • Health — increases resistance to damage, allowing you to withstand more hits before dying;
  • Stamina — increases the number of attacks, dodges, or blocks you can make in one combo;
  • Strength — increases damage dealt with heavy weapons;
  • Agility — increases damage dealt with ranged and light one-handed weapons;
  • Intelligence — increases damage that can be dealt with spells and staves;
  • Faith — increases damage of weapons that require this stat;
  • Concentration — every 100 points of concentration grants an additional charge for powerful runic strikes;
  • Carry Weight — Increases the allowable weight of active equipment.

Your type of evasion depends on the class of equipment: light allows for a quick step, medium activates a roll, and heavy leads to a slower roll but allows for a shoulder strike to knock down an enemy.

Which Stats to Level Up at the Start

The primary stats are health and stamina. This will allow you to survive longer and use deadly combos. Use any available equipment until you decide on your character's class and comfortable gear.

The stats strength, agility, intelligence , and faith are only needed to enhance the corresponding equipment. Concentration is an important stat, but you need a lot of points to feel the enhancement, so it's better to ignore it at the beginning. Carry Weight should be increased as you progress through the game to avoid changing your play style due to inventory overload.

How to Know Which Stat is Needed for a Specific Weapon

Simply open the stats window. In the table that appears, you'll see the equipped gear, and in the Stat Bonus column, you'll see an icon indicating the required parameter.
