G.SKILL Unveils High-Frequency, Low-Latency DDR5 Modules

G.SKILL has announced new DDR5 memory modules designed for overclocking enthusiasts and users who demand both high speed and minimal latency. The new modules will be available in the Trident Z5 Royal, Trident Z5 RGB, and Ripjaws M5 RGB series.

The first kit includes two 16 GB modules running at 6400 MT/s with timings of CL28-39-39. This option is tailored for those seeking a balance between high speed and low latency. The second option is a high-capacity 2×48 GB kit operating at 6800 MT/s with timings of CL32-42-42.

Both solutions support overclocking via Intel XMP 3.0, though compatibility with AMD EXPO profiles has not been confirmed. G.SKILL tested the new modules on ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Dark Hero and ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Hero motherboards paired with Intel Core i9-14900K and Intel Core Ultra 7 265K processors.

Additionally, the DDR5-6800 CL32 lineup will be available in various capacities, ranging from 32 GB (2×16 GB) to 96 GB (2×48 GB). However, ultra-low latency is currently only available in the 2×16 GB configuration. The new modules are expected to hit the market in March, though pricing details have yet to be disclosed.
