Soulslike Another Crab's Treasure Released on PC and Consoles

Another Crab's Treasure, an underwater soulslike featuring a hermit crab in the leading role, has been released on PC and consoles. The game was developed by indie studio Aggro Crab.

The developers describe the game as an adventure in the style of Dark Souls, but in a dying underwater kingdom. The story follows a hermit crab trying to reclaim its stolen shell, exploring the ocean in search of treasures. Along the way, it must uncover the mystery of a certain «goo» that could destroy the underwater world.

Players will also have to battle other, larger species. To defeat them, they must use makeshift trash and «techniques of wit,» learned from other creatures. The developers have created more than 50 shells, including unusual ones like an electric light bulb and a «Colt.»

As of this writing, the game has a 98% rating on Steam based on 252 reviews. Players liked the cartoonish graphics, light atmosphere, and the shell-changing mechanic, which brings something new to the genre.
