The official NVIDIA GeForce YouTube channel released a new gameplay trailer for Half-Life 2 RTX, an updated version of the iconic shooter by Orbifold Studios. The fresh video provides a look at the Nova Prospekt prison.
The trailer also shows a comparison between the original and improved versions. The game has been enriched with numerous new assets and support for modern technologies like full-fledged ray tracing, ray reconstruction, and DLSS 3.5.
Half-Life 2 RTX does not yet have a release date. Previously, the developers released another trailer set in Ravenholm.
Recently, users noticed changes on the Steam page of the original Half-Life 2. It's possible the game is due for a major update in honor of its 20th anniversary.
