New gameplay of the Morrowind remake on the Skyrim engine has been released
The developers of Skywind, an unofficial remake of the cult The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, shared a whole two-hour gameplay of their project. In the new video, they showed familiar locations like Balmora, Tel Vos, Sadrith Mora and the Ghost Fence, as well as combat and other activities.
Such a long video was prepared for participation in the Creation Mod Con 2024 conference. The developers demonstrated the work of various mechanics, showed how familiar places began to look on the Skyrim engine, and walked around Balmora in the finale, reaching the house of Caius Cosades.
The inclusion of the Bloodmoon and Tribunal add-ons in the remake is not yet being discussed — the authors intend to finalize the base game. Let us remind you that Skywind does not have a release date yet.
However, the authors of the Oblivion remake have stated their firm intention to release an updated game — their project will be available on PC as early as 2025. They recently shared a new gameplay fragment and fresh screenshots.
