Post-apocalyptic RPG game Sancticide to receive demo soon — new trailer released
Red Square Games and Sylen Studio have unveiled a gameplay trailer for the post-apocalyptic RPG-action game with roguelike elements, Sancticide. It has been announced that a demo version will be released on October 14 as part of the Steam Next Fest.
The trailer showcases the protagonist battling groups of enemies and performing brutal executions.
The main character is Ezekiel, a tax collector, who, according to the storyline, must eradicate sin and vice in the name of the Creator.
The developers highlight several features of the game, including a brutal post-apocalyptic world, a well-developed combat system with fluid combos, a rich selection of melee and ranged weapons, flexible upgrades for supernatural and kinetic abilities, both main and side quests, and a «death as a learning opportunity» mechanic.
«Through death, players can better understand the game's world order, which remembers our actions, and choose the right strategy to achieve victory in the unfolding historical confrontation between humans and AI», — reads the description.
Sancticide can already be added to the wishlist on Steam. The exact release date of the full version has not yet been announced.
