Dying Light 2 Fans Bring Back Cut Content Shown at E3
A group of enthusiasts is actively working on Dying Light 2: Stay Human in an attempt to return the game to its «original» state, in which it was presented at E3 in 2019. YouTuber Best Gamer Ali shared a review of the updated action and showed how it has been transformed.
The project was named Dying Light 2: E3 Definitive Mode. Enthusiasts have already done a lot of work — they reworked maps, visual effects and textures, redesigned Sophie for the previous version, changed the interface and UI, added new animations, returned the original biomarker design to the main character and corrected the color correction, bringing it closer to the demonstration at E3.
This is not the final version of the mod yet. Fans plan to return the cut Elysium district, change the city of Villedor, rework the plot, add new tracks and other improvements. You can follow the project's progress on the developers' Boosty.
Recall that Dying Light: The Beast was announced at the end of August. The project grew from a story add-on into a separate game — Techland even had to change the rules of the Season Pass.
